My Tough Skin

Loving, loving, really loving praise,
yet sometimes we need to accept the
other not so nice criticism.
Sweet, sassy, lovingly said words are
what we love to hear, ultimately
the stuff that is going to create us
into the stronger writer is the
negative stuff that is expressed  by
others that you need to improve your
craft.  We all need to get off our not
so lovely writers wreck from timely
manner.  The hurtful words, dig in and
gut us from the inside out.  Toughens
us and makes a more durable force
to proceed with a new way to see.
